The Monastery Agia Triada built in th 17. century is located on the barren Akrotiri peninsula, where the wind god Aeolos feels comfortable. A magical place in the middle of a wonderful landscape with olive groves, cypresses and vineyards. Founded by the monks-brothers Jeremia and Lavrentios Tzagarolon from the neighboring monastery Gouverneto. Above all, the monastery produces its organic olive oil, balsamic vinegar, allergy-friendly soap, and its pomace – schnapps. The taste of olive oil is just as unique as the location of the monastery. The excellent mild olive oil from the variety koroneiki olives has received several awards.
