Golden yellow organic linseed oil is a natural source of polyunsaturated fatty acids, especially alpha linoleic. It also contains palmitic and stearic acids, but also lignans and phenolic plant compounds with antioxidant activity.
It is suitable for the care of dry, irritated and peeling skin. It protects the skin from strong wind, low temperatures, bright sun and other environmental factors that are harmful to sensitive skin.
It is unsuitable for oily acne-prone skin (phage classification: 4).
It is an excellent carrier for fat-soluble vitamins (E & A) since it easily penetrates the upper layers of the skin. It replenishes the skin’s fatty acids, keeping it elastic and prevents transdermal water loss (TEWL).
Linseed oil is an excellent product for hand and nail care. It softens the skin of the hands and cuticles, strengthens the nails and accelerates the healing of cuts and other minor injuries caused by cuticles.
