Arnica belongs to the Asteraceae family, a group of flowering plants that have been studied for their pharmacological and medicinal potential. This particular plant has been used in traditional and homeopathic medicine for centuries in Europe and North America. Arnica montana is a yellow-orange flower that grows in the hills and mountains of central Europe.

Arnica plant extract, which is obtained from the flowers and roots of the plant, consists of flavones, lactones, triterpene alcohols, tannins and carotenoids.

These ingredients give Arnica extract anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, antioxidant, analgesic, antimicrobial properties.

Arnica can help improve microcirculation, speed up tissue healing and soothe the skin in areas of inflammation. Therefore, it has been proven to help relieve sore muscles and joints, while at the same time helping to reduce the healing time of bruises, swelling, hematomas and sprains.
