A DROP OF KNOWLEDGE
Santorini is an island in the southern Aegean Sea and belongs to the archipelago of the Cyclades. It is famous for its active volcano whose last activity was in 1950. The name Santorini comes from the passing Frankish Crusaders who stopped for supplies near the church of Agia Irini (Santa Irina).
