Crete white wine Dytiko Monastery of Agia Triada-Crete, 750ml bottle
The grape variety Romeikos loves calcareous soil, water is its greatest stress factor and has a high phenol content. The dry climate on the barren Akrotiri peninsula offers the best conditions for this grape variety.
Due to their different colours and high phenol content, it can make white wines as well as red wines.
Romeikos’ vineyard is the monastery’s oldest vineyard. With its golden yellow color and its complex floral character connects the aroma of green apple. Full-bodied in taste with a buttery aftertaste. Goes well with poultry, fish, pasta with white sauces and spicy cheeses such as graviera.
